ApriL Apineru is a 23 year old American Samoan, single mother of one, former student of SCAD ATL with a passion for photography. She is the head of the Community Outreach, an advocate for humanity and helping others. She is an open-minded free thinker, with experience in many of life's struggles, with an empathetic view on life. Interests include Spirit Science, arts/crafts, religion, baking, organization, sharing of information, folklore, spreading joy, and the betterment of society.​

Joey Burg is a Certified IT Professional working for the Kotter Group. As a member of the Libertarian party, Joey is steadfast in his defense of the constitution, working to restrain the growth of government, and protecting the rights of Americans. Joey is also an avid rider, closet mechanic, gamer, and general handyman. If he's not working to further the conservative grassroots agenda, you're likely to find him working in his garage, garden, or tooling around GA on his motorcycle.

Jeremy is a hardworking middle class family man who is expecting his first child with his wife, Lacie. Outside of the ACA and The Lamp Post, he is currently employed with Merial Limited as a batching technician making animal vaccines. He has a deep love for his country and the philosophies upon which it was built. He identifies himself as a “free-thinking independent”. He is the founder of The Lamp Post’s Facebook group which inspired our blog’s site name. He enjoys spending time with his family, practicing martial arts, listening to music and playing videogames, and also has a fascination with philosophy, history, politics and art.

Chris McConnell is 25 years old and a founding member of the ACA. He currently serves as a Representative for the organization and has a passion for politics, current events, justice, and doing what is right, no matter the opponent. As an open-minded thinker with tenacity for civilized debates and discussions, he is known for fighting for what he believes in unrelentingly until the job is done. He openly identifies himself as a Conservative Libertarian and tends to adhere to the Constitution in such a manner. Separating religion and politics, he is all-inclusive to the promise of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness to all, regardless of others’ backgrounds, ethnicities, religions, sexual-orientation, or ethical standpoints.

Jordan is 27 years old and a staunch defender of the Constitution and the rights and freedoms of the American people. As a Libertarian, Jordan believes in maximum freedom and minimum government that allows all people to live a free, independent life. He is currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of North Georgia and enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He also has a strong passion for sports, music, and discussing politics. 


Chris Rice

Chris Rice is 41 years old with a passion for politics, veteran issues, current events and fighting for what is right, no matter the cost. He openly identifies himself as a Conservative and is very familiar with the world of Politics. He is a former Department Commander for the Iowa Amvets 06-07, former aide of the former WI Governor, Tommy Thompson, and a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He holds two associate degrees: one in Electronic Engineering and one in Police Science.

Jessica Swords, a founding member of the ACA and currently serves as a Councilwoman for the organization, as well as the organizer of The Lamp Post. She is 26 years old and a recent graduate of the University of North Georgia with a degree in Spanish. She is an outspoken young woman who speaks her mind and loves to entertain her audience with abundant, but friendly sarcasm. With a large and diverse family, including five sisters, she is able to look at the world from many perspectives and easily empathizes with those who surround her. Her passions are her faith, politics, art, animals and life. 


Alex Winfield

Alex Winfield is from Roswell, GA.  As a child, he spent his time studying music as well as martial arts.  In 2003, he graduated from Atlanta Institute of Music, and he held a variety of jobs performing and teaching music.  Alex spent several years on the road touring with a band.  Highlights included traveling the globe, playing music for U.S. service men and women out on deployment.  Currently, Alex is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in biology at the University of North Georgia.  He still continues to teach music as well as study martial arts.
